Being born and raised in Hong Kong, I was fortunate enough to receive education in the best schools and institutions. I finished my junior and senior school in St. Paul's Convent School and my Form 6 and 7 educations in Maryknoll Sister's School. Both were (and still are) renowned all girls school with English as the primary teaching media. These were the places where I spent my childhood, weaved my teenage dreams and where I met a lot of my life-long friends.
I received my college education in Hong Kong Polytechnic, studying business management and majoring in marketing as well as purchasing and supply. Then I received further education in Administration and Personnel Management in Hong Kong University. Later on, while I worked for the government of Hong Kong, I received a post-graduate diploma from the Chinese University in Horticulture and Recreation Management.
After graduation, I worked as a purchasing manager in the private sector. My job afforded me the chance to travel extensively in China and I helped set up a new factory in Northern China.
I made a career change and joined the Hong Kong Government in 1982 by taking up a senior management position. I was given the role of planning and controlling a City District's budget and expenditure, as well as management and deployment of over 500 staff.
Move to Canada
In pursuit of a different life style, my husband and I made a decision to migrate to Vancouver in 1988. My first job was as a computer sales associate in Future Shop. My diligence and determination to succeed brought me the position of Assistant Manager within a year. After another two years, I was promoted to Marketing Manager. In charge of purchasing and marketing computer products for over 50 Future Shop outlets across Canada.
The success I had in Future Shop brought me another challenge with regards to my career path. I acquired my real estate license in 1994 and joined MacDonald Realty Westmar, one of the largest and best real estate companies in Vancouver.
My service area covers the whole Lower Mainland especially the west side of Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and as far as West and North Vancouver. Other than the residential market, I have in-depth knowledge in commercial real estate including sales and leasing. I was also asked by clients to help in a number of commercial property transactions in Whistler.
I have great pleasure working with people from all walks of life. Several satisfied clients of all nationality and from different cultures can attest to that fact. I enjoy listening to and discussing their needs as well as the long and short term plans of the clients and I love to share my knowledge, experiences and suggestions with them to the best of their personal and investment interests. I have helped numerous new immigrants to settle in this lovely country.
With my positive and caring attitude, expertise knowledge, 20 years local experience, commitment and diligence, I am very pleased that my clients keep coming back for my real estate services and refer their friends and families to me. All my clients have now become my close friends.
With the support of my clients I have the honor of receiving the Gold Master Medallion awarded by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. This is an honor for the realtors who are in the top 10% in sales volume for 10 years and more. Within MacDonald Realty, I am consistently one of the top 5% top producer.
